With lots of new developments planned (up to 12 storeys high), a new public plaza lined up, and easy access to the train station a large number of people are choosing to build and invest in this neighbourhood.

Woolloongabba

Named as Brisbane’s ‘newest hotspot’ by Paul Riga, the associate director of Urbis, Woolloongabba is set for major growth this year. Also popular among new couples and young professionals, the suburb is a short distance from the CBD and the West End social scene. With a number of reports showing that young people would prefer to live closer to the city in an apartment block than have a big home out in the ‘burbs’, residential developers are selling up big on the lifestyle aspect of the property market.
